WORK

The work matters more than the job titles.

Titles are useful shorthand. The work is more informative.

My career has included teaching and developing dive professionals, leading resort-based dive operations, helping establish new operations, managing teams and marine assets, contributing to destination-development initiatives, working with government and institutional stakeholders, and building technology products from problems first encountered in physical operations.

Dive Operations & Leadership

I currently serve as Chief Operations Officer and PADI Course Director at Dive Andaman India Private Limited. I lead a 23-member team across a five-boat resort dive operation, with responsibility spanning safety, training, staffing, equipment, compressors and inventory, marine logistics, sales, guest delivery and day-to-day operational systems.

My authority includes go/no-go operational decisions, emergency action planning, incident response, boat readiness, preventive maintenance, professional standards and staff development. Commercially, the role includes sales oversight, high-value training programmes, customer acquisition and performance analysis. Operational and commercial changes during this period contributed to substantial revenue growth.

Instructor Development

I became a PADI Course Director in 2017. By 2026, I had conducted 18 Instructor Development Courses and worked with approximately 50 instructor candidates. Instructor development has required me to combine standards knowledge with coaching, evaluation, communication, professional judgement and the ability to develop people who will themselves become responsible for teaching and safety.

Marine Tourism & Destination Development

Dive centres do not operate in isolation. They sit inside resorts, transport systems, seasonal tourism, marine regulation, guest expectations and destination strategy. My work in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands has increasingly included the wider destination around the operation, including new dive opportunities, marine-tourism initiatives, Fish Aggregating Device and artificial reef related projects, and major public diving events.

Conservation & Marine Projects

My marine work includes scuba training for Indian Forest officials through the Wildlife Institute of India programme, training marine biologists in diving, coral-monitoring and restoration related field activity, Dive Against Debris instructor training, and participation in FAD, artificial reef and dive-site initiatives in the Andaman Islands.

Guinness World Record Operations

In May 2026, I participated as Lead Diver in two Guinness World Record achievements organised by the Andaman and Nicobar Administration: the largest flag unfurled underwater and the tallest human stack underwater. The projects required preparation across dive teams, safety, equipment, underwater coordination, documentation and public-facing execution.

Ventures

Through Mosorb India LLP, I am building technology products informed by operational experience. TripTurner is an AI-assisted travel-planning product. Endelir One is a functional dive-centre ERP connecting the guest journey and the operating systems behind it.
